Run in the Valley,
a Davenport 5k Run and Walk
Join us on June 15th at 10 am on the front steps of Charlotte Valley Central School to take part in this community event, celebrating the almost very end of the 2019 school year by quite literally running away from the school! Adults and children, athletes, families, and friends are all welcome to participate to enjoy the sun and freedom of summer together.
Due to low participation numbers and scheduling conflicts,
the Class of 2020 must regretfully cancel the Run in the Valley.

Event Details

Time:
8:30 am - Registration table opens.
9:00 am - Check-in and Packet Pickup begins.
10:00 - Let the Race Begin!
Participants:
All registered participants will receive a bib and a time for the race.
Adult 5k Run/Walk participants: ages 18 or older.
Youth 5k Run/Walk participants: ages 10-17.
Parents are welcomed to walk with children ages 9 and under at no additional charge.
Course Details
The course starts and ends right in front of the school. Participants will exit the school parking lot and make a left onto State Highway 23 for a short distance before making a left onto Mill Road. This down-and-back route will take participants for a run (or walk) alongside Charlotte Creek until Mill Road merges with Charlotte Creek Road. The turnaround, complete with a water station and a spectator station awaits runners on Charlotte Creek Road. Then it’s just a matter of making it back to school.
Registration Information
All registration for the event will be hosted online through It’s Your Race.com.
Cash or check will be accepted the day of the race.
All Adult and Youth registrations include:
a racing bib, refreshments during & after the race
T-Shirts are NOT guaranteed for registrations after June 7th.
(Extra t-shirts may be available for purchase the day of the event.)

- Youth 5k Run/Walk (Age 10 - 17) - $15.00
- Deadline: June 7, 2019
- Includes: t-shirt guarantee, water, and refreshments after the race
- Late & Same Day Registration:
- Adult 5k Run/Walk (Age 18+) – $25.00
- Youth 5k Run/Walk (Age 10 - 17) - $20.00
- Deadline: June 15th, 2019
- Includes: refreshments only at the end of the race (T-shirts are NOT guaranteed.)
